Need help on dual display cards

hi all, I'm currently using ASUS V3800 RivaTNT2 32mb as my display card. And recently I bought an ATI Rage/RageII display card because I was interested in its tv input function. However I can't figure out the best way to conveniently switch between them. Don't get me wrong though, there's no conflict between them hardware-wise. It's just that once I plugged in the ATI RAGE display card and the computer recognizes it and updated its ESIC (may be mis-spelled) After that I can't switch my default display card back to the V3800 TNT2 again unless I physically take out the RAGE display card and let the computer updates its ESIC again.
I'm not sure you can run two side-by-side like this without as you say removing one then starting the other. Personally I would contact the manufacturers for some advice as they will be able to advise you best on their own products.

I just tried the same thing.... having two display cards on the same system. It didn't work under NT. I have two PCs, one with Win98 and one with WinNT. The Win98 system had no problems with 2 display cards, so I just assume WinNT does not support dual display. Bummer..... However, should you figure it out and prove my assumption wrong, please let me know.
