ok so i need help...how do i install this on a totally new hard drive. i tried already and fdisk made a 2 gig partition.....how do i make the partition larger? i dont want my c: to be only 2 gig while the rest is 39 gig. ok neways i have a windows 95 startup disk....i can get windows 98 one but right now all i have is win 95 disk. i dont have the drivers for my pioneer dvd106s cd/dvd rom. argh anyways can i get a detailed step by step walkthrough how do to this and how to make partition i want c: to be about 22 and d: 18 gig.

First off, go to www.bootdisk.com and download a Win ME boot disk.
Use it to run fdisk, and choose yes when it asks if you want large disk support ( this will give you FAT 32 )
You can then make your partitions as you want them.
Make the C: partition the active one.
Then format each drive partition.
Reboot again with floppy, and choose to start with CD support.
Then you should be ready to run setup from the CD.
Good luck...Krystyna

If you have a Windows ME CD
and you Bios is set so it can boot from you cd-rom drive.
You should just be able to stick the CD in and boot.
you can use it to fdisk too.But if you're gonna use a Boot disk you should be able to use Windows 98 to setup Windows ME.
Also you might want to keep your Windows drive partition small 3-5 gig for easier disk mantenence.
