Reply: (edit)I havent' installed XP but XP should provide the driver's. For example for windows ME if you go to your C: drive you see a directory called CABS. This directory contians a copy of your OS and drivers. What it means is that if you uninstall your Modem driver and log out and log back in again, it installs the driver for it automatically. I would expect it to be sort of the same for the XP. I know it doesn't help but, migh give you a bit more info. John.

Reply: (edit)Are you thinking of changing your format from FAT32 to NTFS underXP. If you read the XP installation manual it will give you the information you need. During the setup XP will give you a chance to see if your system is ready to be upgraded. If you have not purchased XP go to one of the readiness test sites MICROSOFT or PC WORLD, you will see the TOOLS item at the top of their homepage and it will take you to the test. The only driver I had to update was my SANTA CRUZ TURTLE BEACH SOUNDCARD. Do a clean install, and/or if you have a lot of old software do a dual partition and keep ME. All the best!
