yesterday, everything (the folders, the files) in one of the folder in my computer cannot be opened! the names of everything are changed to strange characters, and it seems the computer don't recognize the names. i've tried to rename the files to normal; however, they are not allowed to be changed. Others in the computer are normal, only that folder has this strange problem. how can i slove this? the files in this folder are very important to me! Please help me, EXPERTS!!

.. while you're waiting for those 'EXPERTS' you might try explaining your situation in a little more detail - terms such as 'strange' & 'normal' aren't too meaningful It would be a good idea to run Scandisk and see if the drive has errors - you might also perform a virus scan, either with an installed application (you do have AV software, right?) or else an online scan, such as Panda You're not running any sort of folder password program are you? I'm not one of those who think Bill Gates is the devil. I simply suspect that if Microsoft ever met up with the devil, it wouldn't need an interpreter.
