Which Linksys NIC?
Try reloading the drivers for the Linksys. NDIS.VxD is the application that handles the way the NIC and the OS talk to each other and the version of NDIS is handled by the drivers for the NIC. If there are updated drivers from Linksys, get those as Windows ME is set up to use a newer version of NDIS.
Windows 98 was NDIS 3. Windows ME is NDIS 5.
ME likes 5 a whole lot better.
