My zip exctract, Wizzard is not working

I tried to unzip a downloaded zip file, and for some reason it is not working at first it tried to unzip the file went about 20% then froze, now can't get it to come up, I have compression on,??? any help, would use system restore, but don't want to download the file again. Sue

It could just be a faulty download,try another(different) small zipped file to insure Winzip is still working ok. jimi_l

jimi_1, I did try a small file I unzip before, just to see if I was going to get the prompt to and nothing, does not even give me the option to extract now. Sue

Don't know if I am explaing myself right or not, you know when you click the zip and the option comes up to send to or extract, that is what is not comming up. so can't extract anything. Sue

Another malinstalled Microshaft feature. If you knew what file it ran you could try exract and replace from the cab files. Only other ways is restore or reinstall of ME. Easiest is get another zipper.

Didn't see your post in time to respond. If you move the file you want to save to My Documents or even to the Recycle Bin, it should still be there after you use System Restore.
