My sound card driver is missing!!!

I deleted a player off of my computer that I do not use and now my sound will not work. What did I do?

You deleted the player off your computer, you already told us.
What player ? Why ? Where ? HOW did you delete it ?
Have you checked the Recycle Bin and tried to restore it if it's there ?

Go to Desketop, right-click My Computer, click Properties. Click (Device Manager) on tab. Look to where you see Sound, click on it to see if there are any conflicts. You will most likely see an exclamation. If so, remove it, reboot computer. If not, I think you can safely remove sound devices and it will find them and re-install automatically next time you reboot computer.
