My PC wont start, new hardware??

Hi, Something happend when I was deleting some programs. I restarted but my PC says that it has found new hardware - but it won't tell what (blank). How can I jump over this sequence? I cant continue because it ends in failsafe mode where I cant do anything. please help me

it sounds to me as if you accidentally deleted some core files/programs.
As your operating system is hanging up... I would recommend that you boot from a floopy and that you use system restore to correct the problem. system restore can be found in the system information file.
