Comment: Hi i can't get my pc to start up..it boots up but stops where it has a message on my desktop saying....go back (342)your pc clock has advanced by more than a week..it then says is the time correct? there is a yes and a no but since my mouse wont work or my keyboard i cant get it to do any thing. right now i am on my other pc........thanks for any help i really appreciate this. Reply: (edit)Can you boot into safe mode? Is that the exact error message? ..and have a think what software you have on there that would cause an error like that ..time/sync/alarm type program etc.

Reply: (edit)hmm.. maybe something in the BIOS may be messing with the system clock... have you checked the battery life? I'd try replacing the system battery and then looking into your BIOS for any stray settings. I'm here to help as best I can...
