Comment: I have HP-Note book with windows ME.
When i plug USB-Flash drive into note book not thing detect, but I try Add new hardware not thing detect again. But I'am sure USE-Flash drive it OK, Because it can work with my PC with windows XP.
How I can do that ?

Reply: (edit)after you plug in the storage device i would check in device manager and see if it's being seen there and if so what state it's in. and if there's software with it try reinstalling after completly uninstalled.

Reply: (edit)Have you checked your BIOS settings to ensure USB is enabled and not as legacy. If you are using a PCMCIA/Card Bus USB card have you installed drivers??

Reply: (edit)I'am sure BIOS is USB enable. And Devices manager can't see USB storage device . But if plug USB-camera it can work correctly.
How i can check why can't see the devices.

Reply: (edit)ou need the USB driver that is specific to the flash device. check with HP downloades or the flash drive manufacturer's web site for the correct driver.
