All the sudden my icons appear to be fuzzy or white squares? What has happened?

Hey, the same thing happened to me. I know this sounds crazy, but I disabled my floppy disk controller and everything works fine now. I traced everything back to what I had installed and that was the last thing. Once I disabled and restarted everything is good - for now since this is a Windows based machine, lol. One other thing that I have heard is bringing the colors back down to 16 bit if they are in 32 bit. Good luck, I know these little things are the hardest to track down.
