I just put in a plextor burner(IDE) Using an asus a7v133 mobo with its own ide chain.not sharing from the cd rom. since i installed it i cant right click the burner or the cd rom or I get the hourglass thinking till I get my computer(not responding)and have to end task. I have uninstalled the burner and this still happens to the cd rom with the burner out all together. Any ideas? Ive made the burner master slave shared it off the same ide cable gave it ,it's own cable tried it all Just cant right click any rom in the system. Or freeze up.
