my computer Icon, trash icon change

Hi, My icons 'My Computer, recycle bin and My Network Places' are changed to what looks like a text file icon. The other icons are fine. I've looked and I don't have the ShellIcon folder that I can delete. Any way to get these icons back to normal appearance? Thanks
