my computer freezes after format..

hi, my computer freeze after i format it and reinstall Win ME. Specially when i play a song it freeze even faster, and after that i cant do anything except reset. I suspect that my audio driver is causing the problem...my audio driver is AC'97 82081AA Intel chipset

James, check the manufacturer's site or the list at left and see if you can locate another driver. HTH. Ed in Texas.
