My comp always disconnect

I got 56k modem and how come it keep disconnect after 30 minutes if i'm not using it? is there a way to make it stop disconnect and go online for a longer time?

Its probably your ISP and not your computer. Try somthing like this-

Right click on your dial-up networking, then click properties. Click on the "dialing"radio tab, uncheck the box for idle disconnect or change the minutes in the box next to it. Hope the solves your problem.
