My browsers cant display web conten

MY WEB BROWSER CANT DISPLAY WEBPAGES. I DONT KNOW EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED.I FOLLOWED THE TROUBLESHOOTER AND TRIED ALL SOLUTIONS BUT IT IS STILL NOT WORKING. IT TOLD ME TO REPLACE WSOCK.VXD,WINSOCK.DLL,WINSOCK32.DLL,WSOCK32.VXD. I DID FOR WINSOCK.DLL AND WSOCK.VD BUT I CANT FIND WINSOCK32.DLL OR WSOCK32.VXD ON MY INSTALLATION CD OR ON THE PC. STRANGELY KAZAA IS STILL ABLE TO DOWNLOAD SONGS BUT THE BROWSER IN IT IS NOT WORKING. NETSCAPE IS ALSO NOT WORKING. pLEASE HELP ME. IN CASE I HAVE TO REINSTALL THE WHOLE OS, PLEASE SHOW ME HOW TO DO IT SINCE I AM MULTIBOOTING WIN2000 AND ME AND DONT WANT TO LOOSE WIN2000.

To get a sensible answer to your post, please supply full system specifications, including the browser version number, e.g. Internet Explorer 5.5 or Netscape 6.0 etc. Say also when this started to happen, what led up to it, did you download anything which might have caused it.
You might find that reinstalling it will cure the problem and you might also find the tips on the homepage link on this response of help, especially number 14.
