Msvcrt.dll error

When I run some programs the msvcrt.dll error comes up and in some other programs other dll come up and make it crash . The dll are taking over.

So I got to microsoft and I try to get them updates Ive never done this before so i got 15 and its a total of 11mb but when im about to install that proccess stays in the part when it says preparing to download.

But I need to find a way to replace the dll file i downloaded one but im not sure if its the new one and anyways I cant overwrite it because windows is always using it even if i ended task to all the programs.

If you can help lemmy know.

have you tried from safe mode?
allso just befor installing updates shut every thing of but explorer and system tray.

Try replacing the file in safe mode,tap f8 key while booting,choose safe mode.

I had tryed in safe mode before i posted this message.

I tryed in safe mode and i found a way to replace them by booting up in Dos can any of you donate me your msvcrt.dll file.
