Everytime I change my desktop theme from the default, shut down then reboot, system stops loading. Displays what my wallpaper is, and gives me a moveable cursor, but nothing else. Typed ctrl-alt-del and got deldrv16, c something (can't remember it all). Canceled ctrl-alt-del. Still nothing. Did ctrl-alt-del again, got same two, but now msqsrv32 (Not Responding) appears. End task on msqsrv32, nothing happens. Computer is frozen in time. Cannot use power button to shut down. Computer is out of the box (no added software) HP Pavillion 900mhz, 384RAM, soundblasterlive package, Mcafee Virus scan, Windows ME, NVIDIA Graphics, Standard Windows ME packages installed (factory). Stumped helpdesk! Somebody please help!!!!!

Sounds like McAfee is the problem. If you have the install cdrom/floppy of McAfee I would consider deleting McAfee. When it's still not working just install McAfee back again. And if that is not the case try this : http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/q261/7/66.asp
