On Sunday, i turned on my comp to find that MSN Messenger had not ran on start-up as usual. Upon further investigation, the following programs do not work.
MSN Messenger 6
Windows Media Player 7
Spybot: Search & Destroy
I attempted to load Messenger but it just seems not to notice the action. Windows Media Player continually needs a codec, and Spybot is searching for about 15 matches instead of the usual 2000. Could someone PLEASE tell me what is wrong, and how to fix it.

I would try a system restore ! Pick a restore date B/4 this problem started , it may replace those missing applications? Worth a try !
