matt,

Either uninstall messenger via add/remove programs and reinstall it.

Or you could try right clicking the sys tray messenger icon and choosing exit, then go into msconfig and uncheck MsnMsgr and anything else it leaves in there. Restart, then goto and click, Start >> Programs >> MSN messenger 6 and it should reinstall.

HI Matt and Viking,
I do face the same problem.
Although I have install and reinstall a few times, the result is still the same:
"A dynamic link library (DLL)initialization failed UNICOWS.DLL" !

Any other ways to tackle this problem?
