If you don't have IE6,try a repair of IE via Control Panel/Add-Remove Programs, choose to delete then repair.

Hi George, The Kid, hi everyone,

Copy and paste the file into the Windows\System folder.

I also just read that Gator, scumware, can also cause the problem.

I recommend you download and run Spybot

Best Regards,
Mesich

Hi everyone,

Did you download and run Spybot to see if Gator was the culprit?

Here is another suggestion:

• Start Internet Explorer

• Select Tools, and Options

• Click on Accessibility

Uncheck the box next to Format document using my style sheet.

• Click the OK button.

• Click on OK again.

• Click on Start and Run.

• Type regsvr32.exe /i mshtml.dll

• Click on OK.

• Click on OK again and restart the computer.

Good Day!
Mesich

Hi again everyone,

George,

Check in C:\Windows\System and ensure that regsvr32.exe is located there.

Hi George, hello everyone,

Well that explains the error you are receiving when trying to register the .dll file. I shall have to hunt up my WinME disk in order to send you the file, unless someone else is still following this thread or you have the WinME cd yourself.

I'll get to looking and check back also very soon.

Best Regards,
Mesich
