msgsrv32 not responding on boot up

When I am booting up my Copmaq Presario 12XL325 Laptop with ME it stalls and when I do a Crtl/Alt/Delete it says "msgsrv32 not responding". The only way that I have been able to boot up w/o problems is do a step-by-step start-up. I have run Norton System Works, Ad-Aware 6.0, SpyKiller 2003. I have also disabled power management. I did have a lot of spy ware and ran all of the fixes but I still have the same problem. Can someone help...PLEASE!!
