Hi, 2 times out of 3 my pc boots ok but on the other occasion it hangs.
On Ctrl+Alt+Del i find that Msgsrv32 & Pchschd are 'not responding'.

go to accessories/system tools/systeminfo
under the TOOLS menu youll find a tool to show your start up programs in a list.. de-select the one you figure is causing the problem.
I think the start/run/command is msconfig ? To get the same screen.
Your looking for system configuration utility/start up Or search windows help file for troubleshooting start up and it will direct you to it. Then you can methodically troubleshoot the problem. Each item on the list is pretty easy to recognise what it is and what its for.. if in doubt.. GOOGLE up each one. *S*
