how did the ms icon get on your taskbar? MSN internet access? where on your task bar is it located? quicklaunch(on the left) or systray(on the right near the clock)
If its on the quicklaunch its just a shortcut and can be deleted. If its in the systray its a running program and can be removed in add and remove programs. If it is running in the systray it leads me to believe you have or have had msn internet access installed for this computer.
