Hi, I have just upgraded all our machine to Me, and they have started to kickup mprexe.exe errors. I am unable to get into Safemode or run windows. A new install is the only way to get the machine to run again. Any ideas? Thanks

I had that error too..and then some...here's what i did in response to another posting SUCCESS!! Well i didnt need to purchase a new system board. However, your reply did get me to thinking about configurations and where the errors were occuring during the install/setup/config>errors..:P I could be wrong but what I concluded was that windows can have troubles configuring multiple devices at one time;particularly when windows is DISCOVERING new devices such as video cards, ethernet cards, sound cards, modems, ...the list could go on for anyone...its alot of work for the windows to configure ALL AT ONCE.. What I did was to fdisk and then reformat(making sure I labled it as to not have multiple computers with identical anythings) after formatting the drive, I turned off the computer and proceeded to remove ALL THE COMPONENTS, and leaving only my video card..Then I booted the computer with CD-ROM support, at the a: prompt, type setup, it'll look like this without the quotes just before hitting enter "a:\setup" (this is provided you have a bootable floppy) but anyways, windows installed and then loaded without one error, and it did it in record time. Then I loaded drivers for my video card, restarted, after that I installed my audio drivers successfully, and then , I proceeded to install all my software (unreal eheh) to be sure that it could install for that matter ...once I was satisfied with my software configs, I then installed my ethernet card, and then while windows was rebooting ..Windows found my ethernet card and configured it as well, NO problems!! HOORAY!! After that, I was able to connect my new computer to my old computer (with my old video card on it seeing how as my newer video card works better on my old computer :P whew!) anyhow I'm currently online writing this to anyone who cares and my buddy is checking out napster on my new PC through my LAN...and we've had multiple battles in UNREAL deciding who's da man!! now for about 5 hours and not one error, nor crash... I hope this is hepfull
