Mp9 beta mess me up computer slow

Help please. i loaded media player beta 9 and the next day my computer started acting slow, the hard drive seem to take for ever to start windows up, it takes for ever to loadup at first and when loading other programs after start up. and now i cant do nothing. i deleted the mp9 beta, but the computer still slow, i tryed to restore, but it wont let me at all. i tryed to scan disk and format the the c and d drive but they are to slow because to the system. and it wont let me until i scan disk, i cntrl, alt , delete all program to help it except explorer and system, but no help, so i did the next thing tryed to used the restore cd to format my hd that came with the computer. but all it did is took more memory of my hard drive, at first it was 60 gb now it says 30 something or less on it and it say easy access buttom software missing, and the keyboard does not work at all, i think everytime i try to format the hd it reloads window me into the conmputer taking space. but i can open windows and everything but is just to slow . help!!!!!!!! i damm that media player 9 beta , people stop using it until the real thing comes out. should of knew better.

Betas are always a risk. Media player 9 will be a risk ever after the beta period is over.

Since its a beta and your only one of a few who have it ... you wont get many responses about fixing it. You could try calling MS but they may not have a solution this early in the game and you will probably need a credit card number to speak with someone because your OEM wont support the upgrade to 9 since its a beta.

System restore isnt working. You would get rid of your problems by formatting/reinstalling windows but i realize this isnt an option for everyone.

Stick around for more advice and deal with the slowdown till a fix [if a fix] is released.

I tryed to defrag the c drive and scan it but it wont it keeps restarting over and over and sometimes it just freezes. i have the restore to factory setting cd that came with the computer but my keyboard wont work at all at times, but when i do it just reinstalled win me and took more of my hd memory it was 60 now it say 30 or less on it. dont care about the software on the computer i can always get it back just want the hd to act fast again. help!!!1
