How do I convert my mp3 files so that my fairly antiquted CD players (not part of computer) can play them. What types of files are these that are played on typical CD players? Know of any good software for this conversion?

type "mp3towav" in a google search engine...it is a good program and undoubtably will be available somewhere...

also Nero 5 automatically converts mp3's into .wav files, as does easy cd creator 5

Musicmatch Jukebox does it automatically. The free version (Jukebox Basic) works fine but limits recording speed to 2x:

Make sure to use cdr as cdrw disks won't play on most music cd players.

On of the best mp3 to wav and vice versa programs I have found is CDex....its a freeware program that is very easy to use and FREE. I find it best to convert the Mp3 to wav's before I burn......it makes underrun problems less of a problem. Then use something like Nero to burn them to a cd and they should run on any cd player.
