MP3s changed to VBS???

My MP3s and some jpgs changed to VBS files by themselves and i cant open them or change them back. i cant really do anything to them. Whats with this? help plz, thnx in advance.

VIRUS. They are probably toast.

hello you have a virus. vbs type. you need to run a virus scanner and KILL the virus befor it dose more damage. once killed depending on what type if vbs virus it was you might be able to fix the damage. if you got to c/net and search for vbs script virus ,or look in security there you will fined some free utiliteis for repairing the damage.but the newest version of vbs might not be coverd hope things get better
And you need to delete all the mp3 files as they are no longer mp3's but the virus itself renamed to the song name. if you attempt to play the mp3's it will just re-infect your system.
