Movie player/camera errors??

recently bought a benq 1.3m pix camera. it also takes short movies. problem is it transfers picks + movies auto onto pc, but it used to play the movies back in windows media player, but now even though i downloaded the latest version player, there is an error it cant find a buffer/decompressor??. it then plays the sound that was recorded but no movie??? HELP PLEASE... Why did this change, how do i rectify??

You may need to install the codec of ur camera. Try to reinstall the software in the cd when u buy ur camera. Hope that hlp. Good Luck,

You don't need the DIVX codecs.
Digital still cameras use Motion JPEG compression for movies in the form of an AVI. You need to download Apple's Quicktime player for Windows. Then open the Quicktime player and view your movies with that.
