The mouse works fine otherwise. However, when I try to run games, it'll either not start(Giving me an error like ..cannot find mouse) or will run(but mouse won't work). I have the latest drivers. The mouse is some cheap hewlett packard mouse that came with the computer. Under system-mouse, it is shown as microsoft PS2 intellimouse.

I've done the remove/uninstall deal. The DirectX tests show that there is no problem anywhere and the mouse works perfectly fine elsewhere. It's just not working in games like Red Alert2 or Soldat.
