Monitor Shutoff Problem

After using my monitor for a ewhile it just turns off and goes into standby mode. Even if the machine is turnedoff and on again, it still wont work unless it is left for 20 minutes. Idas anyone?

That 20 minute period looks an awful lot like a smoking gun (pun intended). There isn't any kind of reset that requires that much time, so it must be heat related.
