Monitor problems

When I turn on my PC, the monitor is black and has system informatio box that says; "monitor in power save activate by PC"
I have tried everything I know ( which is not much) and I cannot turn the monitor on...Any ideas???

As you can read something on the monitor, it is working just fine.
It is your system and/or video card that is not working.
Make sure the cable from the Display is plugged into the back of the system. Make sure the fan in the system power supply comes on and blows air. Does the LED's on the system come on?
