Monitor problems

When i off my monitor and on it after few mins. Nothing come out. Then it will restart by itself. Sometimes will have errors and asking me to restart the computer. Anyone help please!!!

1. Why do you want to turn your monitor off and on after a few minutes?

2. What do you mean by the monitor "restarts"?

3. What errors are there?
