Monitor ghosts

I`ve started to get what I call ghosts lines on my monitor. If there is a line of type in the center of the screen there is a faint gray line across the type and to each side of the screen. Same thing with any figure on the screen.

Your monitor is haunted, hire an exorcist to cast out the demon.
Real reason: your monitor is broken, and it will only get worse. you can try whacking it or taking the back off and fiddling with the resistors at the back of the tube. WARNING monitors contain capacitors that contain charges of thousands of volts for ages after they have been disconnected. Be careful!

Ya forget the Home Repair unless you know what your doing. Monitors are cheap...most times cheaper than fixing.
