I just took a modem out of one of my PC's and put it in another, I dont know what modem it is(I dont have the driver CD). If I install win me will it find my modem and install it, and it will work?

Can you still access your old PC? If so your modem should be listed in control panel in the modem applet. Do a Google search for that modem. For instance if I go to controll panel\modems it says PCTEL Platinum v90 Modem

Agree with the above. Win ME may well find it anyway as there are many drivers with ME. The program at belarc.com will also give you a full analysis of a system and name everything in it.
