The second message is of no importance. It is a bug on nearly all ME systems. The first one is an MS DLL so it's probably not doing any harm either. Dr Watson throws up those messages for a lot of things.

You haven't said what problems you are experiencing, if any, or what your system specs are.

Have a look here
http://www.computing.net/windowsme/wwwboard/forum/14062.html

also scandisk/defrag regularly, run adaware from this site http://www.lavasoft.de to keep trojans away from your PC and every few days completely clean out your internet files using the method suggested here
http://computing.net/windows95/wwwboard/forum/63127.html
in addition to keeping your anti-virus up to date and running a personal firewall such as Zone Alarm or Tiny Personal Firewall, you should have a well run, neat and tidy installation of Win Me.

If not, one of your programs is likely to be causing trouble as you say, because the above advice will clear out the accumulated rubbish and keep your drivers current. If a program is causing trouble, format and reinstall and then load only one program at a time until you find out which one.

Good luck. :)

hi trev
thanks for all your help really I enjoy reading your instruction and really little people ready to give advise like this today.
I have another general quastion as will, if you dont mind answer me.
I use to download files from the internet and as I know some time this files proram extract some iles from your computer, and if you tried to unistall the program some the computer give you some time that if you are sure you want to delete one file in the unistallation process.of course I say no I dont want to delete. with time you will find in your system ahuge amount of files may be they are not usefull.
the quastion is
1- is there any porgram can extract un usefull files and drop them.
and if move some file or you extract them from there origneal location can you return them back to ther place without any harm or without you know its job and its location.
like acommand or any program say(send it back to its place) like you see in the recyclebin when you want to move an item ot its oeigneal place.
I like designing and presentation so alot of times I download (images , programs, zip files....) I use them for specific reason and I dont need them more and I need to unistall it but this bring me alot of problms and may be the first problm which I ask was because ofthis as will.
any way these things which you told me in the last massege I did all of them and I feel my computer is batter just one thing is the same. the sound of switch on and of inside the tower is the same.
you hear the sound some time with mouse click or open some file just like its closeing apower cercuts and open it.
with my regards

govand

There is a program here called Clean System Directory which will clear out all the unused DLL files. The only problem I have ever found with it is that it clears out Windows Media Player Dlls in error but since it moves them temporarily to a safe location you just move those ones back if Media Player does not operate properly. (Anyway do a system restore point before using it - just in case).

With regard to downloaded images etc. you should keep a temporary folder in your data directory and periodically move unwanted images to removable media such as CDR or floppies. I also do a lot of DTP and presentation work so I have the same problem.

I have used it successfully, except for the Windows Media Player problem I mentioned, but you run a risk with any freeware! Set a system restore point. :)
