Comment: Whenever I buy new software, I install it and when I try and open it, it always comes up with this error: The MSACM32.DLL file is linked to missing export NTDLL.DLL:NtClose. I saw someone else had the same problem and followed the instructions to fix the problem but it keep coming up that it wasn't a valid filename. Can anyone help?

Reply: (edit)In somewhat similar cases the problem was not the export NTDLL.DLL:etc, etc , which was not missing anyway. The problem was the installation of a wrong version of the calling dll, in this case MSACM32.DLL . The solution was to replace the calling dll on the computer with the one from the CD, in this case the ME CD. If this works (or not) please post so that others know. Regards ... RIS
