missing exe file

ever time I try to open a J-peg etc.. I get a message saying missing pstart.exe. how do I fix it tried re-inatall, did not fix the prob help!

this means that there is a program associated with .jpg files that is either corrupt or missing. If you had an image viewer installed, try reinstalling it. Or try downloading a new one, I use ACDsee, you can download it from download.com.

Summary: Torpedosoftware.com has some software with the europe.exe filename. Also, that consider.exe file name sounds like some type of marketing pitch, like maybe attached to sofware as a trial, just not sure...
