Evening All..

Recently have had to down grade from XP to ME.

When my hard drive was setup with Xp it was partitioned into two parts 5 gig for windows (c:) ands 15 gig for other stuff (d:)

Having moved back to windows ME, it no longer recognises the second partition and only has the 5 gig partitioon available.

Any ideas or help on how to get it to recognise my second paritition? id kinda like to keep all the stuff on there if poss...

Cheers in advance....

My first guess is that in XP you had the file system set for the second partition as NTFS, and Windows ME can't read NTFS, only FAT or FAT32 partitions.

There may well be other reasons, but that is the one that seems most likely. Why did you change from XP to ME - a downgrade to a much older operating system?
