I have recently had to reformat my hard drive using the system disc I was give by the people who sold it to me.
this in turn gave me a new me version.
However I seem to have lost nearly all my accessories. I don't care about the games but I've lost the imaginging thing and especially the calculator.
Help desperately needed please!
many thanks.
Carole

Go to Start >> Settings >> Control Panel >> add and remove programs >> Windows Setup tab >> Double click "Accessories" >> put a check next to any, or all, of what you want. Same goes for games, multimedia etc etc.
Reboot the machine and let Windows update it's configuration, may take a minute That should give you back what you want.
This does actually depend on how b---tardized your OEM copy of ME is as well. Suck it and see.

Carole, You should see your "Calculator" icon in C:\WINDOWS(folder). However if need be, you can install "Accessories, Calculator and Imaging", by double clicking "Add/Remove" in CONTROL PANEL, then click "Windows Setup" tab - you should see "Accessories" in this window. Read and follow directions and you will find "Calculator and Imaging" as well by highlighting "Accessories" and then click "Details" button of which you should now be able to find BOTH "Calculator and Imaging". Just follow the directions at the outset is all. I hope this helps and hope you have a very good day.

Viking, Sorry about that. I didn't mean to duplicate the above instructions. You beat me to the punch so to speak. Have a good day!

LoL ..no worries buddymcw :)
Annoys the hell out of me that, when you just spent all the time typing a response out only to be beaten to the punch by someone else. 8-|
Enjoy the Sunday :)
