yes lots of problems with windows me
a lot of issues with 98 too and then there is XP/ supposed to have fixed me issues
well xp has it's own problems esp when instaling patches
all windows OS have huge problems but most can be overcome provided you are able to learn a bit of know how so how big a problem may be can depend on the users' knowledge & ability. best bit of advice whilst learning (& after)is to BACKUP (YES i'M PROBABLY SHOUTING NOW)
and with me & xp don't ever delete/ uninstall windows restore/ saved me many times
so if u want to, try WME go & do it
lots of advice & tips on the net
have been using me for a long time now & I actually like it so>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
anyway try it & if u really find u don't like it easy enuff to get rid of &replace with another doubt if microsoft will ever come up with the perfect OS/ they wouldn't make half enuff moolah

cheers:):):)

Have used it since like 2001 and have had very few problems with it . Programs run good , watch tv on it . Runs good on 128 meg of ram even better with more than that . Has system restore if you like that feature on XP . I won't switch until at least the next version of windows (longhorn) comes out .

Windows ME will run as a stable and solid system provided you set it up properly and use software, peripherals and hardware which are suitable for it, e.g. where you can actually get ME drivers. Your system sounds suitable.

Visit the homepage link on this response before you install and if you follow the advice on it your system should sing!
