CPU temp at 79C is at the limit where the processor might start shutting down. Check your processor fan, and clean it. Make sure the heat sink is not loose and that there is good contact to the processor chip with good paste.

Hi byrd

You may find that you need to install more cooling fans, AMD chips run warm. But I would do as JackG suggested first

I'm sure it was an oversite, but you might want to post your question under CPU's / Overclocking forum.

They can really help you
