Hi. I can't get MIDIs to play in Windows Media Player. The status bar will whow that it's "playing" but I don't hear any sound. The only way I can hear MIDIs is if I open Acid 3.0 and open them up from there. While this works, it can get tedious. How can I get the MIDI sound to work in Windows Media Player? All other sounds work beside MIDI.

Try to reinstall your sound card drivers. If you have a Creative card do a search for the error message you get (if any) on their site and download the three files that you need to. That should solve your problem. Also, click on your Start Menu and then go to Settings and click on Control Panel. Click on Multimedia and make sure everything is setup correctly. It could be a problem there.
Also, click on your Start Menu and then go to Programs, and then Accessories and then Entertainment and then Volume Control, make sure nothing relating to MIDI is muted. Click on File and Properties if you have to. Check any box relating to MIDI and make sure it is unmuted. Hope some of this helps.
