Memory Upgrade

About a year ago I added an additional 128MB of RAM to my computer which was slow to begin with (only 64MB of RAM, 633Mhz, Intel Celeron 4). I would like to replace the 128MB card with a 256MB memory card. Would my computer be able to handle the additional memory upgrade, without messing up the motherboard, etc.?

Your best bet would be to go to either the Crucial or Kingston websites. Then use their memory configurators. Just type in the make and model number and they will tell you how much and what type of ram you need.

And don't necessarily give up on the 128MB stick. If you get a compatible stick of 256,put it in the first slot, and the 128 in the second slot. The only drawback may be that if the 256 is rated at a higher speed,it will likely run at the slower speed of the 128 stick.

My computer came with PC66 SDRAM 64MB. Can I replace it with two memory cards that are PC100 or PC 133. Can I upgrade with a 256 MB PC100 with the existing PC66 SRAM?
