My system resources falls quickly for no explained reason. It doesn't seem to matter how many applications I have opened. When I do have multiple applications open it's usually just two or three (Kazaa, web browser, and media player). But right now i just have my browser opened and resources fell from 60% when i turned my cpu on, to 39%. When I close applications, it does nothing to help. I've tried keeping everything as clean as possible, deleting programs I don't need, etc. Any suggestions?

Josh,
Uninstall Kaaza fully, uninstall any other freeware software you have also downloaded. Make sure your Anti Virus program is up to date, scan machine fully. Then download the following and run them AdAware, Spybot and if you dont have a virus scanner get Avast!.
Each of these are free programs, so get them, use them and clean up your system. You will be surprised at what they find.
Also you might start planning on backing up anything you do now want to loose, for you may have to resolve to the ultimate removal tool. Formatting the drive and reinstalling all software again.
Kaaza is a known malicious program, it harbors virus's, trojans, and quite an assortment of particually annoying Spybots. It is these little gems it deposited in your machine that is using your resousces.
Kaaza is a professionally written program designed to cripple your machine, not to mention just its method of operation which is Peer to Peer networking opens some very large holes into your machine. This is well know to anyone and they will use it to plant what ever in your machine.
Google Kaaza and read some of the comments on it. . . . .
Good Luck and tell us how you made out ! ! ! !
Cheers
