I posted a week ago or so, but to date have not found a real solution to my problem. For some reason, when trying to play some movie files, I get an error stating that two dll's are missing and the OS reports cannot load them, and thusly I get a Media Player error. Music files are fine. A Google search for the dll's shows them to be apparently part of some software for DVD from a firm called Iomega, and the software is 'Sonic My DVD' but I have not downloaded any of their software, don't use my system for DVD's, and use a firewall and other means of security to stop intrusions. The link is as follows:
http://www.iomega.com/support/documents/11870.html
However, this hasn't lead me anywhere. With ME, is there a succinct way to uninstall MP 9 and revert to the stock version, so I can reinstall 9? It is getting very frustrating getting error message after error message. The dll's in question are shown on that link...please help if possible!

Call off the dogs...I have solved the mystery...another forum recommended in my earlier post directed me to the suggestion of reinstalling the dll files that seemed to be missing. I guess when I uninstalled something it took some fragments I needed. All fixed, no problemo now.
