We tried putting a new vidio card in our computer. A Sniper2 Riva TNT2 m64 32meg vidio card PCI. When we put it in and restarted the computer we got to M.e. start up and the screen went blank. Blank as in when we turn off our computer and not our monitor -(when we do that the monitor's light flickers on/off saying monitors on but not reciving info). when that happened we tried to start up in safe mode to see what was the problem (this is going to take a while because I am going step by step to explane what we tried) but we forgot how and even after multiple shut downs M.e. wouldn't bring up the start up help area. We then put in our Win. M.e. start up disk and cd and tried setup to reinstall window it did the scan before it went into setup like its suposto do and it kept on finding corupted files we thought that re installin Win. 98 would fix the problem. It installed it and in stalled the vidio drivers for the sniper2 Riva TNT2 m64 32meg. card PCI. The drivers installed but when we tried to change the vidio settings from 16color. 640X480 to anything else 98 would restart lockup we had to restart it manually and then 98 would give us an error and change the vidio settings back to 16color 640X480. So then we tried to re install win M.e.. M.e. told us that there where bad files on the hard drive so we backed up every thing we wanted to keep and reformated the H.D. We then tryed to reinstall M.e.. The vidio card was working fine. Everything was going fine copletly insalled files going great until M.e. started setting up drivers then the first problem happened agian right in the middle of setting up the M.e. drivers.we reformated agian and putt back in our old card and put M.e. back on. We believe that the problems in M.e. vidio drivers. can someone help. Following is a list of components of our computer. 1.Gainward 5VPA motherboard 2.AMD 500MHz cpu 3.320 Megs of ram 4.SoundBlaster 16PCI 5.Samtron 76v monitor 6.SIS 6326 8meg vidio card 7.Boca WinStorm 56K Vioce Modem 8.HP DeskJet 895Cxi printer 9.SIIG 5 port USB PCI card 10.OS Window M.E. Upgrade

I installed an ATI RADEON 32MB PCI card in my P3 750MHZ . My system came with i810 intergrated graphics .One of the frist things I was instructed to do was , disable the intergrated graphics andd reboot my system , then Windows should and in my case did installl the standard VGA software automatically. My BIOS had no option to disable onboard graphics , however I made sure it was set to PCI Frist. I did disable it in Device Manager. I hope some of this info helps you with your install problem ! Good Luck ,Nick

our system does not have intergrated graphics of any type the motherboard does not have a intergrated vidio card thank you for your advice but I don't think it will do me much good for this problem I checked the device manager I did not see any intergrated graphics drivers I did a search and found no mention of i1810 or intergrated or i1810 intergrated graphics I do not believe that is my problem with this computer
