This is an old unsolved problem of mine (message #17718). Windows ME freezes on DVD playback. I have tried every known troubleshooting technique, but to no avail.
I run other OSes on my PC and with those that support DVD playback, I have no problem! I can even playback DVD without any problem on BeOS, a free OS!!!
Please don't tell me to use another OS. I'd like to be able to have DVD playback in Windows ME.

hello this may seam rather simple but not knowing what youve tryed allready.and in morpheus forums ive sean this posted with thx replieys .here go in the system tray beside the clock, right click on every thing, chose close, than ctrl, alt, delete every thing but system tray and explorer. now try your dvd. allso on m.e if you have any dos based programs they can afect other programs like burnners sysmtems freezeing up. so it might be some thing to look into.
