ME Freeze

I am having a h**l of a time with my system freezing up on me. It seems to mostly happen in IE (version 6) No ctrl alt del doesn't work--------nothing except reset! I have had it in to the shop and still no better. Any ideas for me?? Thanks

Well, I see you only have 128 of RAM. Try increasing it to the max for your system. Also try closing all programs on startup that aren't needed. start/run/msconfig press startup button, and disable anything not needed in the startup. This should help, until you get the RAM you really need. Good Luck.

should have stuck with ie 5.5 but you done an online virus scan lately? might be a good time to try on at housecall anti virus.and run ad-ware to remove spy ware from your system its free at www.download.com and try these things here may help.

I'm having the same problem with my pc freezing up, and I have 320MB just upgraded from 64MB. I cleaned up all my files, defragged it, upgraded java script and still freezes. I HATE ME.
