a beta tester has mentioned that me has a problem freeing up memory allocated for applications after they have been closed down - is this true?

To be honest, it has improved greatly since the Win 3.1 days. But, you can get around this by using a free small program.

Go to my site:

In the downloads section you will need to scroll all the way down. Look for a program called TweakMem. This app refreshes your memeory. It's the best and easiest way, and to this day I still use it.
